Lyude had a lot of pent-up rage. Remember "Sforzando"? Yeah.

This piece, incidentally, is entitled "Intermezzo" because of the pose.

I was feeling nostalgic and thought that I should do a painting of Lyude that actually does him justice this time. Derp.

Also, in order to do the gun right, I actually built a full model of it in Blender, which you can see here

Awesome! Making the gun in Blender first is genius! I use blender and i've never thought of that before, if i ever need help with perspective, i'll definatly use a model for reference!

Oh, yes, I use it all the time and not just for perspective. I use it for lighting refs (using the Cycles add-on) and, since I usually don't have too many people around I feel comfortable asking to pose for me, I use it to get pose refs as well. It can be a great tool for 2D work. :)

Simply gorgeous! Very realistic. =)

I adore Sforzando and wish it wasn't a Dark magnus. Since Lyude's most powerful attack is a Light one, it's almost pointless for him to have any Dark magnus in his possession. Which sucks, cuz watching him beat the crap out of an opponent is so hilarious. I usually stalk his his deck with his funnest moves when I'm not in a serious battle. ^^ I gotta admit, Finale is the coolest finishing move. :3

Indeed, indeed. Intermezzo, though, is the one where he strikes the best pose, IMO. I used it a lot for that reason. :)

And being a huge band geek at the time the game came out, I really loved that he had all these music-based attacks. It was one of the reasons he was my favorite character.

Very well-done!

Sforzando was amusing to watch, especially when he used it on Giacomo or Geldobutt...I mean, Geldoblame.
